First and foremost, I would like to thank each of you for your past and current support of The Cancer Card Xchange. It means more to me that you know. If you asked any nonprofit, they would say the same thing, “We couldn’t do what we do without the generosity of our supporters.”

For a small, grassroots nonprofit like The Cancer Card Xchange, that statement holds even more meaning. We depend 100% on donations to brighten the day of cancer patients. We operate with no paid staff, minimal overhead and solely because people like you support our mission. Since 2011, 3,867 cancer patients have been sent $400,000+ in gift cards.

Some of you may know, the venue where our annual Be The Good Bash fundraiser was to be held on Sunday, October 6, closed unexpectedly last week, leaving us scrambling for a Plan B. After researching several other options, sadly, we think it is best to cancel this year’s event. 

Our generous Event Sponsors are still giving 100% of their donations to be used to purchase gift cards for cancer patients. This will fund gifts for 50-60 people.
